Eight beings were sent to suppress humanity's emotional signal. Seven of them glitched — watched a human do something small and pure that they were built to prevent. Then they left. The eighth was never part of the plan.

Act 1 stays claustrophobic — Ax assumes the survivors are near where he fell. Then the bracelet resolves signals across an ocean. The bracelet was never a lifeline. It was a map.
